     Honolulu Community College carpentry students Aleki Tavake, left,
     and Malcolm Wasserman are learning to be builders and craftsmen.
     They have been chosen for the Naval Facilities Engineering
     Command program at Pearl Harbor, where they’ll also get
     on-the-job training..
