BRING Sexy back home
We’re pretty sure most people don’t think of furniture when they hear the word ‘sexy.’ But then again, those people have probably never visited SexyFurnishings.com, home of the Mojo Bed Spread and the Leather Boot Chair.

Most computers nowadays come equipped with a basic card reader for just a couple of standard memory cards. The Lexar Multi-Card Reader, however, reads a whopping 12 different types of cards, including the sliver-thin miniSD.

CLUBBED
Never before has a golf club looked so, well, club-like. Last fall, Callaway’s new FT- i driver was the talk of the golf equipment world as details of its boxy construction were leaked to the press. According to company officials, its squarish, straight lines increase the club’s higher total moment of inertia, which leads to straighter tee shots. It might also settle some on-course arguments. $625, www.callawaygolf.com

Designed by Hilo-based Sig Zane Designs and Converse/Kicks Hawaii. The Uluwehi Keaukaha Chuck Taylors features the curving, striking lines of the leaves of the ulu (breadfuit) tree. The choice of ulu has a double meaning for the shoe’s designer Kuhao Zane. The tree, a gift to Zane on his first birthday still grows in the back of the family home in Keaukaha. Also, the pattern is traditionally the first design undertaken by Hawaiian quilt making apprentices. The Uluwehi Keaukaha is Zane’s first design project with Kicks Hawaii and Converse. $110, www.sigzane.com or www.kickshawaii.com

> THE AMAZING LIST
To kick off the 11th season of the widely popular and widely traveled show, “The Amazing Race,” the Web site independenttraveler.com has compiled a list of the Top 10 Amazing Race Destinations, one from each of the show’s 10 seasons. Here are the selections, along with commentary from the Web site’s editors:
SEASON ONE: ALASKA
“And who could forget poor Team Guido, still stranded in the frozen tundra while Rob and Brennan won the million-dollar prize in New York City?”
SEASON TWO: NAMIBIA
“The teams had to navigate themselves through the seemingly endless deserts of Namibia en route to an enormous sand dune.”
SEASON THREE: ABERDEEN, SCOTLAND
“Wacky hijinks ensued when “The Amazing Race” traveled to Scotland and the teams tried their hand at a few traditional Highland games.”
SEASON FOUR: AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS
“Dating virgins Millie and Chuck got spectacularly lost—and did some spectacular bickering—as they tried to guide themselves by boat through Amsterdam’s famous canals.”
SEASON FIVE: ROTORUA, NEW ZEALAND
“Colin channeled his inner rodent to try zorbing—rolling down a hill inside a giant plastic ball like a hamster in a wheel.”
SEASON SIX: XIAN, CHINA
Viewers will remember this leg for the drama that took place atop nearby Mount Hua—where a frustrating cultural task involving one key and 3,000 locks led to dating couple Hayden and Aaron’s elimination.”
SEASON SEVEN: CUZCO, PERU
“The leg came to a thrilling conclusion with a footrace through the historic streets of Cuzco in which dating couple Ron and Kelly edged out affable best friends Ryan and Chuck.
SEASON EIGHT: NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA
“‘The Amazing Race’ visited New Orleans just a few weeks before Hurricane Katrina blew through the area. Viewers got a chance to see the city as it once was.”
SEASON NINE: SICILY, ITALY
“Sicily boasted one of the season’s most memorable tasks: a Detour option known as “Big Fish” that led to a tearful meltdown within team “Mojo” when Monica couldn’t handle carrying a 32-pound swordfish.
SEASON TEN: HANOI, VIETNAM
“The Hoa Lo Prison Museum is probably the most visited place in all Hanoi by Americans. This is the original site of the famous “Hanoi Hilton,” where the Vietnamese held American POWs, including John McCain.”
