Mail Processing and Distribution, Honolulu Airport
>> Every piece of Hawaii mail — even a postcard sent across from one side of a Neighbor Island to the other — is processed at this U.S. Postal Service center at Honolulu Airport. Millions of pieces of mail pass through the center each day. The “cone” sorting process pictured here is scheduled to be automated this year.
