Butlers Without Borders

So you already have the inflatable massage chair, noise-cancelling headphones and global cell phone. Well, we found a travel aid that beats them all. Meet Red Butler. Born in Beverly Hills in 2003, it was a concierge service that pampered a handful of private residents. But in 2006, Red Butler made its concierge services public. The service staffs two dozen specialists from around the country armed with an elite knowledge of the area and exclusive databases. For $36.95 (entry level), members can call, e-mail or text message 15 questions/requests to a concierge specialist 24/7.
Chris Sterling, a representative, says Red Butler can accommodate almost any “virtual” service, meaning it can find you the closest dry cleaners, and while it won’t physically pick up the clothes, it can find someone who will. Requests are completed with-in minutes or hours, depending on the complexity. If Red Butler cannot complete the request, say, reservations for Alan Wong’s because it’s booked, then no request is deducted.
Sterling adds that, best of all, planning a business trip can be done in one call. Just tell the specialist your travel dates, your preferred hotels, whether you want the Mustang drop top in red or yellow and it takes care of the rest. While the service is U.S.-based, concierges have also helped global travelers.
Mr. Belvedere would be proud.

I've been a member of Red Butler for over 2 years. They take excellent care of me and my wife. I have a full time assistant in the office, but I utilize her time to review correspondences and such. I utilize Red Butler for personal and travel requests. They book my flights and I've used them several times to select gifts for my wife. Really, a great company and wish them well.
