Learn the latest information about Hawai‘i’s rapidly changing healthcare industry at the 2013 Hawai‘i Healthcare Summit, presented by The Hawai‘i Healthcare Project. The summit will feature presentations from more than 40 key leaders in the local and national healthcare industry for a day of discussion and learning. The conference is designed for all professions impacted by healthcare, including health plan and hospital administrators, practitioners, HR professionals, attorneys and small businesses.

 

Plenary discussions will focus on the State of Hawai‘i’s roadmap for healthcare transformation, its continuing implementation of the Affordable Care Act, and a CEO Roundtable discussion by executives of Hawai‘i’s largest healthcare organizations on the future of Hawai‘i healthcare.  Breakout sessions include presentations on health information technology, employee wellness programs, patient-centered medical home models, behavioral health, care coordination and more.

 

Internationally renowned physician, professor and best-selling author, Abraham Verghese, MD, MACP, will deliver the keynote address.
