Hawaii Home Expo

Your One-Stop Home Center

Staying ahead of the curve with innovative home and building products, Hawaii Home Expo has become the “One-Stop Shop” for home and commercial building owners seeking quality renovations with an emphasis on sustainability. Under one roof, customers can find flooring, cabinets, countertops, appliances as well as LED lights, water-efficient toilets, porcelain lines from recycled materials, and photovoltaic (PV) solar systems, among other products.

“We carefully research our diverse product selection to provide our customers an easy and convenient means to the best in advanced technology,” says Founder and President Bruce Okimoto.

Okimoto’s customer-focused foresight goes back 30 years when he founded T. Oki Trading to provide galvanized and copper sheet metal, products used by plumbers. It expanded to include kitchen and bath products and became the Hawaii distributor of two internationally regarded products, TOTO and Jacuzzi. In 1986, Okimoto established Marblehaus Hawaii to offer a full range of flooring and coverings. The two divisions today make up Hawaii Home Expo as a unique
One-Stop Shop for all home and building improvement needs.

A strong focus on eco-friendly products reflects Okimoto’s business philosophy of building relationships by meeting customers’ needs in one location.

A customer looking for a water-saving appliance, he says, would likely be interested in energy-saving LED lighting. Hawaii Home Expo also has “green specialists” on its friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Familiarity with the metal components found in solar energy systems made Hawaii Home Expo’s expansion into PV solar panels “a natural transition,” says Okimoto. The company can provide a total solar energy package for customers, including financing and installation. Hawaii Home Expo is donating a percentage of the sale of PV system materials to the Central Union Church Preschool & Kindergarten Capital Campaign. Visit Hawaii Home Expo’s website for a listing of Monthly PV Open Houses.

“As a kama‘aina company, giving back to the community and preserving our environment are part of how we do business,” says Okimoto.
