Early last month, Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations began its fourth season on The Travel Channel. The travelogue show chronicles the gastronomic adventures of chef Bourdain, whose blunt observations and Ginzu-sharp wit has won him rock-star status with many foodies. Bourdain visited Oahu and the Big Island last December to film a segment about Hawaii and our eclectic cuisine. I dined with Bourdain, serving as his sidekick for a segment on Spam. Spoiler alert: Bourdain really liked his Spam musubi. He ate all of his and some of mine. At press time, the air-date of the Hawaii episode had yet to be determined.

Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, Mondays, 9 p.m.

Hey David,

FYI, No Reservations will air at 8 p.m. on Monday. Hope to see you at Side Street Inn.
