If you are already in great shape, you might be one of our Fittest Executives and get the chance to be profiled in the magazine. But even if you tire while turning these pages, take the test – a measure of various aspects of your fitness – then take it again next year to find how much you’ve improved. You might end up as one of our Most Inspiring Executives.
This year, there are multiple categories to compete in: Individually in three age groups, as well as a team category and one for Fitness Professionals. The individual category winners in each gender group receive a year-long complimentary membership to the Honolulu Club.
The Challenge is free and open to anyone at the manager level or above*, at any Hawaii company, nonprofit, or government agency.
We will list the scores of the top male and female finishers and for everyone else, we’ll print your name and company, but your score will be your secret. If you are a fitness professional (personal trainer, fitness coach, etc) you may participate in a category with your industry colleagues.
Need support? Join with colleagues and you may win a team award. Steven Petranik, Hawaii Business editor, is taking the challenge and will be recruiting a team inside our company.
An expanded program includes some great prizes:
Participants who go through the testing at the kick-off event are invited to put their business card in a bowl for a random drawing for a free trip for two to a UH Warriors game on the Mainland**.
Other participant prizes include two FREE Honolulu Club 1-year memberships (awarded as follows: one for the top-scoring overall male (non-fitness-professional) participant and one for the top-scoring overall female (non-fitness-professional) participant).
