Fu Jin Chen, of Lenox Metals, plays a big game of pick-up-sticks with a pile of insulated aluminum cable. The cables are just a fraction of the roughly 200 tons of scrap material recycled each day at the Kapolei yard — an increasingly profitable process as the global demand for raw metal grows.
