2009 All-Stars of Commercial Real Estate
A statistical list of the top commercial real estate brokers is impossible to create. First, there’s no central facility like the MLS keeping statistics. And, unlike residential agents, commercial brokers are engaged in both sales and leasing, each of which can be measured in different ways: dollar volume, square feet and transactions. Finally, while the major firms know their own top producers, they’re not eager to share that list.
So, Hawaii Business asked 50 prominent Hawaii brokers to list who they thought were the best commercial brokers or agents. We even let them decide what it means to be “the best.” The only rule was that they couldn’t choose from their own firm. From these lists we compiled our list of the 10 names that appeared most frequently.
