Even Better Than You Thought

Thank you for this great article featuring our company, Hydrologix Grease Reduction Systems, Inc. (“Greased Out,” Feb. 2009) We would like to point out an error in the last sentence of the article:

“Lenger says the Hydrologix system can reduce maintenance pumping to once every three months.” It should say: “Lenger says with the Hydrologix GRS, pumping is reduced to an as-needed basis.”

Not Every Workplace is "The Best"

These polls/articles on the best places (to work) are great. It's a real blessing when someone scores a good job with a company that takes care of them. But there should be a “Worst Place to Work in Hawaii” done too.

Next month, we publish our annual “Best Places to Work” in Hawaii survey. We look at all the usual suspects: work conditions, benefits, corporate morale, etc. Is there something we’re missing? Is there another element that makes you want to get up in the morning and show up at work? What is it? What makes a workplace a desirable destination? What makes it lousy?
