Prior to launching their firm in 1997, they managed the multibillion dollar investment portfolios of Kamehameha Schools. Nakaoka and Martinson most recently were the lead advisors in the successful sale of Times Super Markets, the third-largest supermarket chain in Hawaii. Today, MN Capital Partners is developing a new fund-of-funds for the Hawaii Strategic Development Corp. and is in a joint venture with Dallas-based L&B Realty Advisors to provide expanded investment opportunities and asset management resources for Hawaii real estate owners and investors.
