WORKSHOP SPEAKERS & MODERATORS:NEGOTIATIONSusan EichorSusan Eichor is president and COO of the aio Group, a diversified, Hawaii-based holding company. The portfolio includes companies in print media, publishing, radio, web, food, and turf management. Significant brands include ESPN 1420 AM, Honolulu Magazine, Hawaii Business Magazine, Hawaii Home+Remodeling, Hawai’i Magazine, and Watermark Publishing. From 1984 to her retirement in 2003, Eichor was part of the management team at Verizon Hawaii. She oversaw the company’s $100 million annual capital investment program and directed the statewide planning, engineering, project management and construction of the telecommunications network. She also directed the 400 employees of Verizon’s customer operations staff, overseeing installation and maintenance services statewide. She currently consults with telecommunications companies in the Pacific as well as other companies developing their telecommunication strategies. Eichor currently serves on the boards of GTA Teleguam, PBS Hawaii, the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii and the McKinley High School Foundation. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from the University of Hawaii. Kaleialoha K. Cadinha-Pua`a Kalei Cadinha-Pua`a is the president and COO of Cadinha & Co., LLC. In addition to her duties of managing the firm, she is a portfolio manager and a member of the Investment Committee at Cadinha & Co., LLC. Her research encompasses fixed-income fundamentals, as well as several sectors of the equity markets including consumer discretionary and staples. Cadinha-Pua’a also oversees the firm’s client services efforts and helps lead the firm’s Institutional Services Division. Prior to re-joining the firm in 2007, Ms. Cadinha-Pua`a partnered with Neil Rose to start their own RIA firm called Cadinha-Pua`a & Rose, LLC which was merged with Cadinha & Co. in December of 2006. Ms. Cadinha-Pua`a is actively involved in the community and serves as the treasurer and finance committee chair for the Holy Nativity School Board and also serves as the treasurer and co-chair of the Finance Committee for the YWCA of Oahu. She is a director of Extreme Fitness Club, where she promotes healthy lifestyles for families in Hawaii. She consults with the government of American Samoa on workforce training initiatives and prepares grants for funding in key development areas.Lisa Sellers Lisa Sellers, a national strategist on issues related to women in business, is an independent consultant who advises organizations nationally. Ms. Sellers has spent the previous ten years working at Deloitte LLP as a senior manager in the Strategy and Operations practice, as well as the Talent organization. Most recently, she was a senior manager for Deloitte’s National Initiative for the Retention and Advancement of Women where she stewarded thought leadership and eminence projects, seeking to advance women through leadership development, succession planning, work/life programs and related innovations. Ms. Sellers earned her MBA from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management and a BS degree from University of Southern California.Linda Rosehill Ms. Rosehill began Rosehill & Associates, a consulting firm, in 1993 specializing in government and community and public affairs in Hawaii. She was the Deputy Director of the State of Hawaii Department of Planning & Economic Development in 1984-1986. Notably she served as a delegate to the National Democratic Convention for several years and was the National Committee Woman in 1993-1996. Ms. Rosehill has also served on several governmental boards and commissions including The Kennedy Center, President’s Advisory Committee on the Arts and State of Hawaii Campaign Spending Commission. Ms. Rosehill received a J.D. from the University of Hawaii William S. Richardson School of Law and was admitted to the Hawaii State Bar in 1983. Prior to this position, Ms. Pacarro was a successful Financial Advisor for 23 years, earning the title of Best Female Financial Advisor in the State according to Hawaii Business magazine, and named by Barron's as one of the Top 100 Female Advisors in the Country. Ms. Pacarro is active in the community as a Board Member of the Women's Fund of Hawaii, The Hawaii Business Roundtable, and former Board member of the Pacific Club, The Children's Alliance, and Na Pa'ani O Punahou. In May, Pacarro was honored by the YWCA as one of the foremost female leaders in the community at their Annual Leader Luncheon.Louise K. Y. Ing Louise K. Y. Ing is a founding partner at Alston Hunt Floyd & Ing, practicing business, real estate and employment litigation and dispute resolution. Ms. Ing is a currently a director of the Hawaii State Bar Association, and has served previously as vice-chair of the Labor & Employment Section, and on the nominating committees for the Hawai`i Supreme Court and HSBA. Ms. Ing has served on a variety of for profit and non-profit boards, including American Savings Bank, Island Holdings, Hawaii Medical Services Association, University of Hawaii Foundation, and Sutter Health Pacific. She has been named to the list of Best Lawyers in America as well as Leading Lawyers in Commercial Litigation in Hawai`i. Wong Colleen I. Wong is Vice President of Legal Services for Kamehameha Schools, serving as its chief legal advisor since 2000. She led the Schools’ legal team in Doe vs. Kamehameha Schools, which upheld the Schools’ admissions preference for Native Hawaiians. She served as Acting CEO of Kamehameha Schools from May 2003 for approximately 9 months.
