Meet MN Capital Partners LLC

Hawaii Business thanks MN Capital Partners LLC, once again, for providing the research for the fifth annual “Top 20 Wealthiest Landowners” list. MN Capital is a Honolulu-based, asset-management and consulting firm specializing in real estate and private capital investments. MN Capital is a joint venture partner with Dallas-based L&B Realty Advisors, one of the nation’s largest commercial real estate investment and management organizations, with a portfolio of more than 18 million square feet of office, retail, industrial and multifamily properties valued at $2.4 billion. Recent acquisitions include Kukui Grove and Kukui Marketplace.

 

Bruce M. Nakaoka, Managing Director
Prior to co-founding MN Capital Partners in 1997, Bruce Nakaoka was the director of the real estate investment and appraisal division for Kamehameha Schools. From 1980 to 1987, Nakaoka served as assistant vice president with a commercial real estate appraisal firm. Nakaoka received the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute in 1990.

Eric K. Martinson, Managing Director
Prior to co-founding MN Capital Partners, Eric Martinson was the director of the Kamehameha Schools’ Financial Asset Division, responsible for its globally diversified private capital and marketable securities portfolios.

Bernard Villanueva, Investment Associate
Bernard Villanueva joined MN Capital in 2005, after graduating with a BBA in finance and BA in economics from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Villanueva also holds a BS in Information Computer Science and is a certified Java programmer.
