Hb Call Out Award Winning
Mallory Adams-Nakamura | Hawaii Business Magazine

Hawaii Business Magazine started its “Award Winning” series at the end of 2022 to profile Hawai‘i individuals and organizations who received significant recognitions.

Recent award winners we’ve featured have included Fête’s Robynne Maii, who won a 2022 James Beard Award for Best Chef; the founders of HealthTechApps, who won first place in the American Heart Association’s Hawai‘i Empowered to Serve Business Accelerator grant program; and Josh Tatofi, who won several awards at the 45th Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards.

We’re looking to hear from Hawai‘i individuals and organizations who have received significant awards or recognitions that would be of interest to the broader community. The award can be at the county, state, national or international level, and should be substantial to the honoree. For example, we’re not interested in grants that help you keep the lights on; instead, that grant should be a game changer to you or your organization in some way.

The honor does not need to involve funding but can honor your work in the community or your dedication to a cause. However, the award must be interesting to the broader community, not just to you or your career field.

This questionnaire should take about five minutes to complete. You can also email staff writer Noelle Fujii-Oride with any questions at noellef@hawaiibusiness.com.

We will be publishing “Award Winning” stories in upcoming issues of Hawaii Business Magazine and will be accepting submissions on an ongoing basis.

Would you be willing to speak with a Hawaii Business Magazine reporter for a story about your recognition?(Required)

Thank you for sharing with us!

Note: We read everything you send us, but our small team is unable to send a personal response to everyone.
