Sean Baumes, AIA, LEED GA is promoted to Vice President & Principal. Since joining the firm in 2013, Baumes has led much of its significant planning projects and design work, overseeing design, documentation, coordination, communication, and community outreach for recent projects such as the Blaisdell Center redevelopment, the Daniel K. Inouye College of Pharmacy at University of Hawaiʻi Hilo, and the Halekulani hotel renovation. Originally from New York, Baumes has a passion for translating elements of the physical and cultural context into contemporary architectural form. His design expertise spans over 15 years and is derived from a diverse set of project scales and typologies across the country. Baumes holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University.
