Hawaii Business Magazine is once again inviting you to help shine a light on the organizations moving our state forward. Nominations are now open for the second annual Hawai‘i Excellence in Business Awards, a program dedicated to celebrating companies whose work makes a meaningful impact across our communities. 

Last year’s honorees, featured in Hawaii Business Magazine, reflected the strength and diversity of the islands’ business landscape. From innovative startups to long-established local companies, they demonstrated resilience, adaptability and a deep commitment to community. Many were recognized not only for strong financial performance, but also for prioritizing their employees, supporting local initiatives and finding creative ways to navigate ongoing economic challenges. 

This year, nominations are open to organizations of all sizes and industries across the state. Whether it’s a growing startup, a resilient local business or a company making a lasting contribution to its community, we encourage you to submit a nomination. Judges will evaluate entries based on criteria including profitability, innovation, employee engagement, sustainability and community impact. 

Selected honorees will be featured in a special issue of the magazine and recognized at an awards program in September, offering an opportunity to share their stories with a statewide audience and celebrate their achievements in person.
