Founded by social workers in 1938, HMSA is Hawaii’s most experienced health plan, now covering nearly 1 million people with the addition of TRICARE, the uniformed services health care program for service members, retirees, and their families. The spring issue of Island Scene magazine is now available. Read the cover story, “Never Quit Dreaming,” about children with disabilities finding confidence and community in sports.
