Because we can’t predict when or where disaster will strike, the fund is designed to move quickly and flexibly across all islands, deploying resources to where the need is greatest, at the moment it arises. Whether it’s Hawaiʻi Island, Maui Nui, Oʻahu, or Kauaʻi, no corner of our state is out of reach.
