The Patsy T. Mink Center for Business and Leadership is now accepting applications for its Leadership Alliance Cohort 7 - a program designed for professional women leaders and entrepreneurs who are committed to personal growth, professional impact, and community leadership.
Are you looking to grow your leadership skills and make an impact in our community? Starting March 1st, MCBL will be accepting applications for its Patsy T. Mink Leadership Alliance Cohort 7!
The Patsy T. Mink Leadership Alliance was launched in 2016 to increase the representation of women executives in Hawaiʻi. Today we celebrate an alumni base of 108 Mink Leaders representing diverse industries including Finance, Health, Energy, Education, Insurance, Construction, Legal, State and Government agencies as well as Entrepreneurs and Non-Profits.
This 10-month program is designed for professional women leaders and entrepreneurs who are committed to personal growth, professional impact, and community leadership. Participants will further develop their management and leadership skills in an effort to increase the representation of women executives in Hawaiʻi. Through facilitated sessions, the cohort will have the opportunity to engage directly with established business professionals and build alliances with fellow Mink Leaders.
Cohort 7 will start in August 2022 and end with a Mink Leader Graduation Ceremony in May 2023. The 2022-2023 Program Application is currently available through May 31, 2022. Apply at www.mcblhawaii.org/minkleaders.
The Patsy T. Mink Center for Business & Leadership (MCBL) was established by YWCA O‘ahu, the U.S. Small Business Administration and a community of partners to become the only Women’s Business Center (WBC) in Hawai‘i. WBCs are designed to assist women in starting and growing small businesses, and seek to “level the playing field” for women entrepreneurs who still face unique obstacles in the business world. MCBL is named in honor of Patsy T. Mink for her dedication to helping women through legislative reforms. She was a transformative leader and a national voice for gender equality, education and peace. MCBL is based in YWCA Laniākea in downtown Honolulu, 1040 Richards Street. To learn more, visit www.mcblhawaii.org.
