Winners Announced for the Hawaii Lodging & Tourism Awards 2018

The Hawaii Lodging & Tourism Association has partnered with aio Media—HONOLULU, Hawaii Business, and HAWAI‘I—to launch an awards program that honors some of the top achievers in the visitor industry.

Honorees are nominated from 14 categories across accommodations, restaurants, events, music, culture and heritage, and agritourism to recognize outstanding achievements of the people behind the scenes of the state’s top industry. Below are the winners of the inaugural awards:

  1. Agriculture Tourism Destination: Greenwell Farms
  2. Farmer’s Market: Kapiolani Community College Farmers Market
Excellence in Food and Beverage
  1. Fine Dining: Ruth’s Chris Waikiki
  2. Casual Dining: Duke’s Waikiki

Best Tourism Events
  1. Heritage and Cultural Event: Annual Prince Lot Hula Festival
  2. Agriculture Event Using Locally Grown Products: Hawaii Food & Wine Festival
