Miriam Hernandez-Kakol is the U.S. Service Line Leader for KPMG’s Customer & Operations business which is focused on delivering industry specific solutions for the front and middle office challenges for KPMG’s Fortune 500 clients. In this role she oversees a team of over 800 partners and professionals and leads a critical growth area for KPMG. As part of its original leadership team, Miriam also played a leadership role in shaping and building KPMG’s Management Consulting practice. For the last 20 years Miriam has consulted with some of the largest communications and media companies in the Americas, rolling out large, transformational programs.

Miriam is committed to diversity and the advancement of women. She is a member of KPMG’s Women’s Advisory Board (WAB), has served on the leadership team for KPMG’s Network of Women (KNOW) and belongs to the New Jersey Women “Network to Network” organization. Miriam also actively serves on the National Academy Foundation’s (NAF) STEM committee and the New Jersey Junior Achievement Board. Currently Miriam is leading an effort to increase KPMG’s presence and engagement with organizations focused on women in technology and STEM.
